The Story

The Ethiopian Consulting Engineers and Architects Association was Established on April 30, 1999. It is Non-Governmental Association Formed by Private Consultants Working in the Construction Sector.

The Association is Interested with the Following Objectives:

To Exert Every Effort so that the Society both at home & abroad, shall get Reliable & quality Consulting Engineering or Architectural Service by the Member of the Association.
To work towards Securing Recognition & Honor of the profession of consulting Engineering & Architecture.
To promote the profession of Consulting Engineering & Architecture.
To Couse the Existence, Strength Review and Observance of the Professional code of Ethics of the Members of the Association.

The Association Shall Have the Following Power and Duties

To cause to strengthen the quality and Reliability of the profession of Consulting Engineering and Architecture in the country’s Economy and to cause to play a legitimate role therein.
To cause to issue and review from time to time, as necessary, as professional code of ethics based of practice, professionalism and in order to achieve the acceptability of consulting engineering and architecture.
To cause to promote the horizon of the member professional serviced to government, non-government public and private organizations and to individuals.
To Exert Every Effort toward strengthening of the members good cooperation, relationship and Unity.
To cause to organize meetings, conferences….and to cause to Ex cute any other matters which have nexus with the objectives of the association and the profession.
To cause to submit professional opinion and follow-up of the same, in respect of government policies, laws and guidelines which have relations with consulting Engineers and Architects.
To lease with the appropriate organ and to seek solution should thereby any illegitimate influence exerted at home or abrade upon the members of the Association.
To Create and Develop working Relationship with other foreign Professional association.
To Arrange favorable conditions so that those members of the association could go and work abroad.

We are sure that “Ethiopian Consulting Engineers and Architects Association (E.C.E.A.A)” will fulfill parts of your needs for your organization. much more benefits can be named and acquired as more so far Have been achieved.

It has come to the Association‘s Knowledge that more than 100 local consultants are registered in the construction industry of Ethiopia where by about 50 % of those are member of this Associations Registered since the formation.
